Todber Manor Farm- Hillview

Peg 58
220lb
2nd overall
15 fished

Another two hour journey to Todber Manor, hoping to win one of the opens so I would qualify for their final.  Drew peg 58, which still means nothing to me, but i had a bit of ripple and hopefully fancied a few?!

Started at 4 metets on paste and after a worrying 7 ish mintues i finally caught a carp.  But things werent quite right, missing a few bites and therefore dropped a method feeder on top on my 4 meter line and you guessed it!!! Not a liner.  Unreal.  Back on paste, feeding 4mm Amino pellets and tiny bit of corn.  This wasn't right, so started feeding balls of mircos, and this transformed the peg.... also big potting groundbait wasn't right after every fish, whereas last Wednesday it was!!!

All rigs are on 0.18 Garbolino Fluro Line straight through, never got broke and caught 180lb on one paste rig.

Unfortunately i got beat again, and had to settle for second place and will have to fish it again.  "I will win a match" 😂

Much bigger stamp of fish today.  Quite surprised

Some serious weights and back up weights too

Carper showed me his 40mm bait!!

Best bite of the day
