Chippenham- Bristol Avon

Peg 15
DNW
56 ish

Drew peg 15 on Sucide Straight, two pegs down from the Oak tree.  Not ideally, good waggler peg for some small chublets, a chance of skimmers and loads of roach.... but honestly, really up against it (i drawn Sucide Straight three years on the bounce).

Plan of attack

Start at 6 meters on 2 balls of groundbait to rest my skimmer line at 13 meters.... this was great, 6 roach in six puts ... then dead.
So went on 13 meter line, and had a run of roach maybe 10 in as many puts for about 1lb 4oz, good stamp.... quick look on chop at 16 meters after feeding 2 BIG bait droppers of worm and caster, no bites.  No problem, back on 13 meter line, for another 20 mintues, a few roach and bleak.  Went on chop for 10 long mintues no bites.  WTF.  SO started loosing feeding waggler line, and pole faded at 13 meters.  Went on waggler for 15 chucks and not one bite.  Ouch.

With 1.5 hours two go, was going no where, and I fish to win.  So 4 BIG bait droppers at 18 meters  (not Angling Trust rules today) and 3 BIG bait droppers down the peg at 15 meters on 45 degree angle.  Sounded a plan, just put in £14 worth of bait in one hit!!!  I hope for two bites, but caught nothing lol.
The rivers do my head in at the moment.  Today's sucide straight lived to its name!!!

No wheel spinning out the car park.  I can take it on the chin....

Looking at last years results.... i drew Suicide Straight again, but drew the Oak Tree.
