Manor Farm Leisure has continued to fish well even with the temperature up and down like “yo-yo”.  I’ve never seen so much rain this year, and the lakes are full now, as I think Dave (the owner) was concerned in the spring, as the lakes were 3 foot down!  No shortage of water now.

Manor has been a learning curve for me, as I have been messing around with different set ups and various boilie dips.  A lot of the fishing has been bomb fishing, either with bread (sinking and popped up), favoured meat, and boilies (again sinking and popped up).

The biggest questions you need to ask yourself:

·         When to feed and when not too.

·         How long should you pop up should be..... (4 inches to 3 foot)

·         Tea bags (PVA bags)

·         Dips, what to use in certain water temperatures and clarity of water.

·         Time of day when the carp feed normally beginning and the end, but not always.
