I drew the best peg in Gloucestershire and never caught a carp!!  Actually no one did in our section!!  Trust me to draw a peg like this when the carp aren't interested.

Gary Davis won the section with roach and a few skimmers, awesome bag of fish.

Only one carp caught on our lake!!  

I came pretty much last!!

Fantastic lake, still holds a major piece of my heart.

Manor Farm Leisure May Festival 2022

 It's been a while since I last fished the May festival at Manor Farm Leisure, infact it was 2019 where I won it.

However most enjoyed festival was 2016, whereby I had a brilliant last day, but that was the past and I'm only interested in the future.

Well done to Nick Dean for winning the festival.

Unfortunately I couldn't locate the "units" in the lake.  However, fortunately I caught some beautiful F1's and just picked up an envelope by 5oz.

Only caught one carp, which was the last fish of the day.

Rolfs Lake two dayer silver festival.

Rolfs Lake is a famous lake for it's huge head of big carp, average stamp is going to be 10lb and 8lber is a small one!!  I have spent countless hours fishing at John Bennett's fishery in the past and was always a regular at Easter Festival, but never managed to get into the top three, "always there or there abouts".

This two dayer Silver Fish Festival is a one off, normally its a three day Easter festival, so I was lucky to get onto it, saw it advertised and booked myself in.

This is a random draw each day, so hoped the draw gods were going to be kind, which they were.   My results were;
